HOW LONG ARE SESSIONS?
Therapy sessions are 50 minutes long although longer times may be reserved if agreed upon in advance.
Sessions are by appointment only and are scheduled weekly or twice weekly.

HOW LONG WILL THERAPY TAKE?
My goal is to work with you to resolve the issues you are struggling with in a timely manner. Every person and circumstance is unique and requires a different time frame for resolution. Even after we have completed our work together, you are always welcome to come back for further growth in the future.

DO YOU KEEP WHAT HAPPENS IN YOUR THERAPY SESSIONS CONFIDENTIAL?
Confidentiality is the foundation of psychotherapy, protecting your privacy to share openly in our sessions together. Your sessions and all information you disclose are confidential. Except for the instances stated below, which I am mandated by the state of Florida to report. Otherwise, I will not share any of your information without your written consent.
1    If in my clinical judgment, you pose a threat to harm yourself, and you refuse appropriate treatment, I am ethically bound to notify the appropriate parties (those who can intervene to protect you).

2    If you indicate a serious threat to harm another person, I am legally required to warn the intended victim(s) and the police and/or to obtain a civil commitment to the state mental health system.

3    I am required to report any suspicion of child or elder abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities.

4    In some instances the courts may subpoena my records or testimony. In most instances, I am forced to honor these subpoenas.
